Proposals Abstract for AP New Districts, Rayachoty District, Rayachoti360

ABSTRACT 

District Administration — Formation/Reorganization of District, Revenue Divisions in Proposal Districts of Andhra Pradesh. 

In exercise of the powers conferred under Section 3 of the Andhra Pradesh Districts (Formation) Act, 1974, the Government of Andhra Pradesh, in the interests of better administration and development of the area concerned, after taking into consideration of the objections and suggestions received from various people and public representatives, by altering the boundaries of existing District(s). 

Formation of new District(s), Revenue Divisions, will not have any effect on the existing elected bodies of Zilla Parishads, Mandal Parishads and Gram Panchayats and their jurisdiction over the areas covered by the existing districts, till the new ZPs, MPs and GPs are constituted, in accordance with law. 

This is one of the three reports that are to be submitted to the Government of Andhra Pradesh. This is not Final Report. Government may select one of the three reports and release the notification officially.

About Rayachoty Municipality

Rayachoty Municipality is the 3rd largest ULB in the Y.S.R.(Kadapa) District of A.P. it is spread over an area of 26.97 Sq kms with a population of 90814(2011 census).  It is known for / famous for its piligram tourism surrounding with big districts Kadapa, Chittoor and Anantapuramu.

Location:

  It is located 500 Kms from capital city and 55 Kms from District Headquarters.  It was established as 3rd grade Municipality in the year 2005.

Topography:

  The Rayachoty town situated in between Y.S.R. Kadapa District, Chittoor and Anantapuramu Districts.  The town is established 50 Kms from Kadapa headquarters of YSR District along road NH-18 surrounding with river mandavya.

Climate and Rainfall:

  Rayachoty town in general, has a tropical climate, winters last from November to February, while summers last from March to June.  The annual rainfall is 25 mm, most of it received during the months of September, October and November.

Demography:

   The population of the town which was 72163 in 2001 increased to 90814 in 2011 with an increase of 25% in the last decade.  The sex ratio is 1:1 females per 1000 males.  The literacy rate is 60% 50% of the male population and 10% of the female population are literate

Economy:

   3.00 Corres per annum.

Environmental Issues:

   In purview of Rayachoty Municipality there are 4350 plants were planted in different wards and control the pollution in Rayachoty Municipality.

Urban Poor:

   In Rayachoty Municipality they are 30% of slum population.

History & Culture:

   This is the ancient town established in Krishnacharya region and mounted in the industrial river i.e., Mandavya river surrounded with famed villages devanagiri timmam marimam and tourism spot horsely hills, veligallu project and jericona etc.,
